the new ultramodern cultural area

12 years of Hellenic Cosmos

On the 21st of March 2010 Hellenic Cosmos completed 12 years of creative presence and activity in the cultural life of Greece. Exhibitions, events, educational programmes, Virtual Reality tours, art events, presentations and speeches continuously expand the range of its activities. Culture, technology and architecture come together at 254 Pireos street, a living centre of expression and dialogue, receptive to the new developments and concerns of the era in which we are living.
For the celebration of the 12 years we organized a series of events under the general title: "Rebuilding Memories" on Monday 22 March 2010 at "THEATRON". There was a presentation of the Encyclopaedia of the Hellenic World, the programme "Genealogies and Oral Testimonies", as well as the Foundation’s new publication, "Ephesus - History and Architecture". The evening came to an end with a theatrical happening which included historical data and three-dimesnional representations of Priene and Miletus. It was directed by Giannis Kakleas, the choreographies were created by Kiriakos Kosmidis and the actor Konstantinos Konstantopoulos held the leading role.

And our work continues …
